     As we are having a test on Thrusday, we´ll leave the vocabulary list for you to practise!!!!

UNIT 11

  • DISPOSAL:  the process of getting rid of something.
  • COUNTRYSIDE: the area outside towns and cities with field, etc
  • ENVIRONMENT: the world around us, especially the natural world.
  • FACTORY: a building where large quantities of things are made with machines.
  • POLLUTION: chemicals, etc that damage air, water and land
  • BIN: a container for putting rubbish in. 
  • RECYCLING: the procces of turning rubbish into new products.
  • WASTE: a more formal and scientific word for rubbish.
  • BOTTLE BANK: a container to put bottles in for recycling.
Phrasal verbs:
  • BREAK OUT: escaparse.
  • BRING OUT: salir a  la venta ( una pelicula, un libro)
  • FALL OUT: pelearse.
  • HAND OUT: repartir
  • LOOK OUT: cuidado!
  • MAKE OUT: ver bien( I CAN´T make out what it says in that sign)
  • PUT OUT: apagar( fuego)
  • TURN OUT: termino siendo.
